When you have soft, downy feathers and a round, fluffy body, it is easy to see why people think you wouldn’t harm a fly.

Or a cracker. Or anything else that goes “crunch.”

Tender, vulnerable crackers don’t stand a chance, precisely because they see the feathers and think “Oh, I’m safe with this one.”
