Being born small and cute with fluffy feathers entitles you to a certain level of predetermined privilege.

It’s not that you ask for it (unless “expectation” counts as asking).

Rather, you are just so cute it is offered automatically. The large featherless beings, er, flock around you, clamoring to accommodate your every need.

This can sometimes set up jealousy amongst other members of the household, like kids and insects. They, too, may begin to assume they can crawl all over the furniture, screech at the top of their lungs, bite at will, poop on high ticket items, and jump into the middle of each others’ dinner plates.

So be it. It takes some beings more time than others to notice how cute you are and accept the natural way of things.

You can be patient, since of course your full service perch at the pinnacle of the pecking order is very comfy indeed.

Someone very cute with grey feathers waits for one of his servants to come by and carry him to where he would like to go.
Someone very cute with grey feathers uses his wings to signal one of his featherless servants to come carry him to the next activity.
