When you have feathers and a sweet (loud, deafening) high-pitched voice, you are a natural to be Captain.

Of anything.

Let’s say you notice that fabulous round shiny spaceship sitting on the counter again.

You can alert your crew (the ones without the feathers) that you would like to be transported down to the spaceship so you can take a voyage.

While a crew member makes arrangements to transport you to your craft (and then – as usual – busies herself with attempting to remember how to turn the spaceship on) you can pose.

This also ensures lovely pre-voyage press photos to distribute to your many admirers.

Here, Mommy "flies" her feathery supermodel down to the spaceship (aka parrot weight-taking machine, aka, cooking scale) on reflective tin foil.
Here, a featherless crew member flies her Captain down to his spaceship (aka parrot weight-taking machine, aka, cooking scale).
Someone proud and very feathery poses (yet again) so his featherless flying assistant can capture his pretty reflection.
Someone proud and feathery poses while a member of his featherless crew tries to figure out how to set the spaceship to “grams” (and another crew member snaps lovely press photos).
