Day 72: Seating Charts

For festive gatherings with more attendees, it is still customary in some circles to create what is known as a “seating chart.”

With a seating chart, you plot out in advance where every guest will sit, paying attention to details such as age, gender, dining or companion preferences, status, and more.

Of course, when some attendees refuse to abide by the seating chart, it can throw off even the most carefully laid-out plans.

Say, for instance, one attendee prefers to sit right on top of his meal instead of in the adjacent seat reserved for him.

Chaos. As you can see….

This looks like a great seat! I wonder why no one has claimed it yet?
