Being a card-carrying shelled member of the food chain can give you a lot to think about, evolutionarily speaking.

For example, let’s say you choose to be born with a certain type of shell coloration.
This coloration, while clearly edgy and fashion-forward, can look rather odd to the untrained eye.
Like, why did you choose a smart and always-classic camo-style olive upper shell but then pair it with a bright white neck?
Even the rawest new boot camp recruit could tell you that white stands out – kind of like hanging an “I’m what’s for lunch” sign around your, well, neck.
But then just take a look at what happens when you head out into your native stomping grounds….the forest.
