Parrots are very giving and generous.

One present you can expect to get daily is parrot poop.
This is a gift that needs no announcing….and seldom ever gets it. It is the perfect “surprise” gift, since it can be quietly deposited on nearly any surface or belonging, to be discovered later, like a little secret love note tucked away for just the right moment.

Ouch! And on one of the “home keys” at that. Ick. I’m fortunate in that whoever owned my cockatoo before he was surrendered to the rescue organization taught him not to poop on the people he likes. So he doesn’t poop on me, but I had to put a special crap catcher over the computer monitor.
