The guitarfish is not really a fish. It’s not really a ray either. Nor is it a shark.
It is more like a fish-ray-shark, and one that has serious black ops skills at that.
The guitarfish can pump water over its own gills, allowing it to stalk prey without moving a muscle. The prey will swim quite close, thinking the guitarfish is a nice decorative rock.
By the time it figures out otherwise, the guitarfish is enjoying lunch.
In between dining, the guitarfish stays quite busy swimming in large flocks called “schools,” making more guitarfish and growing (the longest recorded guitarfish was nearly 10 feet!).

Any model who attempts to pull off this literally one-of-a-kind signature look needs to have some serious style mojo.
Wet Bird Couture is proud to unveil Pearl Cutts modeling “The Guitarfish.”
