The narwhal is a very ancient and beautiful animal.

Also called “the unicorn of the sea,” the narwhal has (count ’em) two teeth.

In females, these teeth mostly stay inside their mouths.

But in males, one tooth grows out into a long and beautiful tusk. Sometimes the tusk will grow as long as 10 feet!

While scientists aren’t sure exactly why this occurs, there is speculation that the length of the tusk indicates “manliness.”

“Manliness,” of course, is a topic of great interest to the staff and super(bird)models here at Wet Bird Couture.

To translate the narwhal’s ancient mystique into modern couture fashion, WBC is proud to present its founder and signature super(bird)model, Pearl Cutts, in “The Narwhal.”

Here, notice how the model's crest feathers spike straight out and away from the neck line, evoking the ancient mysterious manliness of the narwhal's tusk.
