When you wake up with feathers, every day is special (as well as very pretty).

But even so, some days are more special than others.

For example, on one special day each year, it is the day to celebrate your personal Small Chef (aka the Small Tree, aka Grandma).

Grandma is the one who knows exactly what you like and how you like it. She understands “right away, no waiting” customer service like no one else in your flock…especially your large featherless waitress, who has been in training for 17 years now and still hasn’t grasped the concept.

Grandma lets you play in the pantry and sit on the windowsill. She sets up the special mirror for you even after your mommy has expressly forbid it. She eagerly shares her plate of victuals with you and even encourages you to take the first nibble of a new delicacy.

Grandma thinks that every note you sing is the most tuneful note ever sung and loves it when you sing to her while she is cooking up yet another delicacy for you to try.

So on Grandma’s special day, you are ready to celebrate with every fetching feather on your body!
