When you are small and cute and very feathery, you celebrate love every day.
But if there happens to be a holiday when it is traditional to offer treats and presents to the ones you love the most, you’ll celebrate that too.
The best strategy here is to clearly communicate in advance what you like best, so when Valentine’s Day arrives your flock mates will know what to get you.
For example, when you come across an item you do not like, you can let your flock mates know you don’t want any more of it by hissing and striking at it.
And if you really like an item and hope you get a lot of it for your Valentine’s Day gift, you can burrow your beak into it while hissing and striking (if desired, you can also add a bit of glaring for emphasis).
Even if (like now) it is Valentine’s Day morning, it is still not too late to let your flock know what to get you for your present.
