There are so many great reasons to include feathered and shelled beings in your life.
But it can be very hard when everyone wants to do different things on their summer vacations.
For example, this summer, the two shelled beings want to go back to “turtle camp,” where they get to play in the dirt, hide in the mud and eat as many delicious slugs as they want.
The flock “alpha” (with feathers) has once again cast his vote for Grandma & Grandpa’s house, where the VIP service is always delivered “right away, no waiting” and the menu is reliably superb.
And the large featherless being, well, she and her large featherless partner are going to CAMP. Like, in a tent. In July. In Texas. With no a/c. Wish us luck. 🙂
So we will be back next week with more adventures (which at least some flock members will likely need in order to recuperate from this week’s adventures).
