This means intensive training can be necessary to bring nesting security up to the high level required for keeping the whole flock safe.
Just as mission training is often called “black ops,” in this case the training is called “nest ops.”
Here, a nest ops expert – who just happens to be .007 himself! – showcases what it takes to keep the nesting site secure at all times.
Phase I is a thorough surface-level perimeter scan. Periodic beak checks (the “crunch test” works well here) should be performed to ensure nest site and materials safety. In Phase 2, the check goes subterranean as the nest ops specialist scrutinizes the nest’s foundation and structure. At this point, do not be alarmed if the nest ops specialist disappears from view. The final step is to check the interior of the nest site for any threats, including lurking uninvited paparazzi. The nest ops specialist will issue the “all clear” signal when the nest ops maneuver is complete.

What a cute and funny Post
I couldn’t stop smiling whilst reading and looking at the photos
I look forward to seeing what the Gorgeous Pearl is up to everyday
Give Pearl a big kiss and hug from me
Isn’t he though!! 😍 if it was up to him (and his Mommyguard would give a bird some space already!) he is sure he would have a whole ladybird harem by now!

Heading in the direction of feathers now, lips pursed….. 🙂
Pearl, you are the handsomest of .007’s that has ever assumed the role. I hope you find your Tweety. You know that Perlita would love that role. 😉
