If there is one challenge every award-winning actor craves, it is the chance to stretch their creative (er) wings by scripting and starring in their own play.

Of course, the more awards you get, and the more accolades pile up, the more your fans will clamor for…well….more.

Which is why Love & Feathers is so proud to present the latest one-avian play written, acted and directed by none other than Pearl Cutts:

“Whose Bag is This?”

(As the curtain rises, the star can be seen striding across the stage towards a large sequined object that is very shiny).

Hmmm. This item looks very shiny. And suspicious. And shiny.
Hmmm. I don’t remember seeing you here before. You look very shiny. And suspicious. And shiny.
Hey, "Whose bag is this?" Yes, you - the one with all the shine. I asked you a question!
Hey, “Whose bag is this?” Yes, you – the one with all the shine. I asked you a question!

(All is silent and still on stage and in the audience. The Suspect says nothing. The Inspector looks irked.)

Well, you must belong to someone in my flock. I know everyone and everything so I'll get the truth out of you sooner or later.

You can choose the easy way or....(here, the Inspector pauses to open his sharp curved beak slightly) the hard way....

(The curtain drops abruptly, the better to shield the eyes of certain sensitive playgoers who may not want to witness what happens next).
