This week, Pearl offers his Pearls of Wisdom on a topic near and dear to his heart:
“Guarding”
When you live in an interspecies flock, it is possible other flock members may enjoy the same kinds of delicacies you enjoy. When this occurs, you want to make it as clear as possible that a delicacy has been selected and is off-limits. You can do this with “guarding.” Just hunch over the selected item while biting it and looking very fierce. Your flock members will then quickly get the message and back off.
