“Holiday Preparations”
Every year around this time, featherless beings can be seen heading towards the kitchen en masse. Each will have their own proposed celebratory menu to suggest, and those with the most experience will likely be most successful at persuading the flock chef to add their items to the list of festive edibles.
So what you want to do is offer your services as “chef’s assistant.” This way you get to stay close by during the whole preparation process to offer your guidance on which dishes to prepare (and taste test them to make sure they are delicious enough to serve).
