If there is one thing this world always needs more of, it is wisdom.

Luckily, Pearl’s got plenty of it and he’s always happy to share!

This week, Pearl offers his Pearls of Wisdom on a topic near and dear to his heart:

“Sharing Meals”

“Sharing” is a trait most large featherless beings prize highly (this likely on account of how they are too large and slow to get the best victuals without it). If you cohabitate with a mixed species flock, your flock mates may get upset if you don’t seem eager to participate in this mealtime ritual.

Here is where your natural leadership skills can really come in handy. By recruiting another flock mate who is even slower than the featherless beings, you can appear to be sharing even while gobbling up the whole delicacy yourself.

Here, notice how Pearl has recruited a particularly slow flock mate to “share” with, even as he gobbles up the lion’s share of the delicacy as fast as possible.

With love (& lots of feathers),

Shannon & Pearl
