Parrots are very giving and generous.

Whatever they have, they want to share it.

If they love you, they want to share it even more….and share even more of it.

This means that once you welcome a being with feathers into your life, every day is like your birthday. You will get surprise presents just when you least expect them. And no two presents will ever be exactly alike!

One present you can expect to get daily is fluffies.

Fluffies, those small and most delicate of wispy feathers that help make your parrot’s body look so round and cute and, well, fluffy, will readily cling to just about anything.

This includes your clothing, shoes, skin and (of course) hair. When your parrot wants to give you a fluffy, he will just snag it on his beak and offer it to you. Or he may just silently shed one (or many) out – this way you can find the gift later when you need a little “pick me up!”

Here, the resident feathered flock member demonstrates one easy to way to transfer a “fluffy” gift from his beak to his large featherless assistant.

  1. Sometimes the generosity of the tiny white underfluffies is overwhelming. But a present is a present, isn’t that right Pearl? I love them ❤️❤️❤️
