Parrots are very giving and generous.

Whatever they have, they want to share it.

If they love you, they want to share it even more….and share even more of it.

This means that once you welcome a being with feathers into your life, every day is like your birthday. You will get surprise presents just when you least expect them. And no two presents will ever be exactly alike!

From the moment you bring your very sleek and naturally stylish parrot into your casa, one present you can expect to get daily is reminders about personal grooming.

For instance, let’s say you are working from home….in whatever you wore to bed the night before. Maybe you brushed your hair….but then again, maybe you didn’t.

You’re typing away, paying no attention whatsoever to your exterior presentation….when all of a sudden you feel movement on your knee. You look down and see a certain “alpha” flock member giving you an unsubtle hint (the only kind of hints feathered beings ever give).

Pearl offers his large featherless assistant an unsubtle hint about the importance of personal grooming.

But you just think to yourself, “Oh how charming – my baby is about to do some preening! What a cutie!”

A few minutes later, you feel another movement. You look again down and witness what appears to be an SOS alert.

Sometimes unsubtle hints are still not unsubtle enough.

Sighing, you get up to brush hair, teeth, whatever else may need brushing, never realizing just how close you came to a total style faux pas.
