Parrots are very giving and generous.
Whatever they have, they want to share it.
If they love you, they want to share it even more….and share even more of it.
This means that once you welcome a being with feathers into your life, every day is like your birthday. You will get surprise presents just when you least expect them. And no two presents will ever be exactly alike!
One present you will get as often as you need it will be “quality control.” So let’s say you are fixing lunch for your flock mates. As you are assembling one shelled flock mate’s lunch plate, your parrot hurries over and digs in.
Here, many large featherless beings mistake this for a display of flock dominance or even jealousy, but nothing could be farther from the truth. Your parrot is just conducting quality control tests to make sure the ingredients and nutritional content is up to par.
