Happiness is….
A warm bird (if that warm bird has typing and editing skills, even better).
A summer rainstorm rolling in on the heels of a dark Houston sky.
Coffee in a “to go” cup (even if it is “for here”).

This lovely meditation I’ve been doing in the mornings. It goes like this:
Visualize a steady flame. Make a wish. Imagine your wish dancing with happiness, illumined by the light of love. Offer your wish to the Universe (God, the divine, whatever you resonate with) on behalf of all humanity. Receive the gift of gratitude.

Candles. When it comes to candles, I have a bit of a shopping problem. This is the newest addition to my collection:
Pretty much anything with a bird on it. My roof. My coffee cup. The lawn beside a dark lake. Birds make me happy, period. 🙂
