When you are a famous and feathery actor who is also very cute and fluffy, you tend to get lots of presents.

For example, some of your VIP fans like to send you crispy green paper. Others may send parrot-related things, such as crunchy millet, items that shine or photos of them with their avians.

And some fans may send things you have never even seen before.

With these gifts, you often will first have to determine their species and/or purpose before you can send them to the right department for processing.

Love & Feathers is proud to present the world-famous and feathery actor Pearl Cutts in his latest one-avian play:

“Counting Coins”

The curtain is open and the house lights are on as theatergoers enter to choose their seats.

A quick scuffle breaks out between two fans over which front row seat is situated exactly in the center. Since neither will concede the seat and move over one chair, they prepare to endure an uncomfortable hour crammed tightly into the same seat together.

Just then, the feathery and famous star appears!

Hmmm. So you are our newest arrival, eh? What might you be called?
You say your name is “Coins?” ALL of you are named “Coins?” Well, that’s a bit unoriginal, but I think we can work with it.
Yes, “Mom,” they say their name is “Coins.” Yes, all of them are named “Coins.” Yes, I guess we’ll just count them, then.
Okay, let’s start with you – the small shiny one. Yes, YOU. Count yourself off. Start with “one.”
No, JUST you. Yes, I know you are all small and shiny. Yes, I know you are all named “Coins.” Now we need to know how many of you are in there. No you can’t just all be “one.”
“MooooOOOOOooooommmm!”

The grumpy star stalks off the stage, where the soothing tones of “Mom’s” voice can be heard whispering something about “comforting waffles.”

Meanwhile, inside the bag, the coins are all softly and contentedly chanting, “One. One. One. One. One….”

The. End.
