When you are a famous and feathery “black ops” agent, you can expect some of your cases to be….weird.

After all, there are the cases that even rookies can solve (or should be able to solve, anyway) and then there are the other cases.

But this can place a lot of pressure on the few top agents to be “on call” all the time, even when they just want to kick back and relax.

Here, it is great to use your cover identity, such as if you are posing as a famous and feathery actor, to teach about how to solve the really weird cases. Then the rookie agents can learn and you can take a vacation!

Love & Feathers is proud to present the world-famous and feathery actor Pearl Cutts in his latest one-avian play:

“Squash Eaters Anonymous”

As ticket holds enter the auditorium, they notice that there seems to be a meeting already going on onstage.

Lots of round yellow beings are conversing quietly amongst themselves. There are also a handful of round green beings in the group.

The attendees fall silent as the famous and feathery star enters from stage right.

You called and I came. What seems to be the trouble?
You are members of “Squash Eaters Anonymous” and you want to know how delicious squash really is?
I….see. Well, I prefer waffles myself, but this isn’t the first case where I’ve been called in to mediate as an expert.
Hmmm. Interesting mouth feel. Somewhat watery flavor. Kind of squishy on the palate.
Have you guys ever tried waffles? No…I didn’t think so.
Well, look. I have good news and bad news. The good news is that waffles are very delicious. What do you mean you don’t want to hear the bad news?

Just then the mysterious large featherless being known only as “Mom” hurries onstage. She seems to be enveloped in a delectable…scent. She leans down and quietly whispers something about “contractually obligated snack break.”

The petite feathery star quickly hops up on her finger and they exit stage left, leaving the round yellow and green beings wondering aloud to one another about whether what “waffles” are and whether they come in squash flavor….

The. End.
