One of the biggest challenges when you are a famous and feathery actor is to keep your assistants from getting uppity.

Often all that needs fixing is an acute case of “reflected glory,” but the star must always be on his toes to nip such issues in the bud.

Sometimes this may mean delivering key lessons at just the right moments to re-emphasize the basics of being a good assistant. This, of course, is for the entire team’s ultimate good as well as that of the star himself.

Love & Feathers is proud to present the world-famous and feathery actor Pearl Cutts in his latest one-avian play:

“Starbucks Stealth Attack”

As the VIP fans queue up to enter the auditorium, they can hear the distinct sound of gurgling. It sounds almost like…..a coffeemaker!

This is rapidly followed by a certain tell-tale aroma which needs no introduction.

But then again, neither does the famous and feathery star, whom, upon appearing at stage left, causes a kind of “fainting domino effect” amongst the first few rows of fans, who awkwardly topple over onto each other just as the play begins.

Oh boy. Here we go again with “Mom” and this unattractive, unappealing brown drink.
She insists she needs it to wake up in the morning, and yet even after she drinks it, somehow “parrot breakfast” is still nowhere to be found.
I don’t think it’s working the way she thinks it does.
I’d better give her some “assistant retraining” right now before the situation gets any worse.
Although, actually….this outer part is surprisingly crispy and crunchy!
Maybe if she ate this part instead, she would be able to remember my breakfast. I’ll have to add that to the next re-training session….

Just then, the mysterious being known only as “Mom” appears. The moment she sees the famous and feathery star, she coos, “Ohhhh… baby! How CUTE! Pearl – you know you aren’t supposed to chew cardboard anymore!”

And then she whips out the small rectangular flashing device to capture the cuteness, as her precious VIP charge poses, and poses, and poses…..

Clearly the re-training will have to wait.

The. End.
