Here at Casa Feathers n Beak, reading is a flock-wide tradition.
While some of us like to focus on the words on the page, while others of us prefer to focus on the crispiness of those pages, it is safe to say no book entering this household lacks for attention.
So Pearl thought it would be a great idea to combine his literary knowledge with his mommy’s typing skills to offer a “book o’ the week” review – just in time for your weekend reading list!
This week, the book is “Ask Your Animal” by Marta Williams.

Pearl’s review: It is always a good idea to ask your animal about anything you have questions about (and even about stuff you don’t think you have questions about). So kudos to this author – I think she is really on to something with this topic (although the cover model clearly needs some lessons on “working the camera”). For an example of a book with very polished expert cover model, I enthusiastically recommend this book!
His mommy’s review: Our flock has worked with Marta on three separate occasions. Each time we all received great value and insight from her expertise and compassion. It is so great she has written books to help other flocks overcome language barriers to experience better communication and connection, and this is perhaps my favorite one of them all, because it is filled with hands-on exercises to try right away!
Happy reading!
With love (& feathers),
Shannon & Pearl
