Here at Casa Feathers n Beak, reading is a flock-wide tradition.
While some of us like to focus on the words on the page, while others of us prefer to focus on the crispiness of those pages, it is safe to say no book entering this household lacks for attention.
So Pearl thought it would be a great idea to combine his literary knowledge with his mommy’s typing skills to offer a “book o’ the week” review – just in time for your weekend reading list!
This week, the book is “Cockatiel Lessons” by Marguerite Floyd.
Pearl’s review: Ah yes. Now THIS cover art I can enthusiastically endorse – a fetching and feathery single ladybird is always a great way to attract readers (and, um, suitors)! Plus, the whole concept and topic is very timely and important. Everyone should read “Cockatiel Lessons” (oh, and for additional reading on such a great topic, I highly recommend this book)!
His mommy’s review: Marguerite and I first met on Facebook over our shared love of feathers. Now we have fun connecting every week and I totally love her book and her story of how she met and fell in love with her cockatiel, Sugar Franklin! I sure wish there were more books like this one because I would read them all! <3

I totally agree with you Shannon. There should be more books like this. There’s a whole lot of interesting stories about life with cockatiels that should be shared. Divatiel is excellent too. If you haven’t read it yet, I recommend it. You and Pearl and of course, Malti, have a great weekend! 😃
