Every week, Wet Bird Couture’s ever-expanding lineup of glamorous cover(bird)models inspires avians around the globe to dip their claws into the world of fashion for the first time.

Of course, these new aspirants are chock-full of questions and eager to find a seasoned mentor who can guide them.

Pearl Cutts, founder and chief model for Wet Bird Couture, is always happy to mentor new up-and-coming feathery talent in the art of avian style, modeling and fashion.

In this first-of-its-kind special edition WBC featurette, Pearl demonstrates three basic modeling “how-tos” for eager avians seeking to build their modeling portfolios:

First, be sure that your modeling photographer understands the concept of “close-ups.” Also, try to resist the impulse to peck, hiss, or bite at your large featherless photographer when the camera gets very close, or your fans may miss out on enjoying the full effect of how pretty and cute you look on camera.

Next, be sure to capture a "profile" shot for your modeling portfolio.
Next, you will want to ease into displaying your cuteness and prettiness so as to avoid putting your large featherless photographer out of commission too early in the photoshoot. Starting with profile shots is a good strategy here.

Finally, every super(bird)model should save displaying "maximum cuteness" until the end of a shoot, on account of how the large featherless photographers tend to pass out from "Cuteness Overload" at this point.
Finally, every super(bird)model should save displaying “maximum cuteness” until the end of a shoot, on account of how the large featherless photographers have an unfortunate tendency to pass out from “Cuteness Overload” (a technical industry term) at this point.
