The Tillandsia, or air plant, is a most independent green being. If plants could fly, the air plant would definitely be the species voted “most likely to.”

The air plant gets its name because it grows without soil. It uses the air to take in nutrients and hydration. Air plants really like warm climates and will blush when they are ready to, um, pollinate.

It goes without saying that the model who tackles this look needs to be both manly and sensitive, independent and social.

Wet Bird Couture is proud to present its founder and flagship model, Pearl Cutts, showcasing the line’s latest must-have look, “The Air Plant.”

Notice how the model’s delicate crest feathers arc up and away from the neckline, evoking the ethereal feather-like fronds of an air plant.
