Waffles have a (er) rich and delicious history.
First cited as a bonafide dish in either 6,000 BC or the 9th century A.D. (depending on who the historian was and how eager they were to do all that extra research) the waffle has survived the rise and fall of empires, the birth and death of saints, and – most recently – the newfound popularity of the dreaded Paleo Diet, which keeps trying to make foodies of all species believe there is life without grains.

Hawks, of course, are even more ancient than waffles.
Always fierce and ferocious, it is now also know that some of their favorite flavorful dishes used to include young featherless beings (although presumably this concluded once the waffle was finally invented).

So it goes without saying that bringing these two uniquely powerful influences together into one cutting-edge new style is not for the faint of stomach.
Wet Bird Couture is proud to present its latest must-have look, “The Waffle Hawk.”
