Being the “alpha” man(bird) of a flock means your flock mates are always looking to you for guidance.
It just comes with the territory.
When a new situation unfolds, everyone will automatically turn in your direction to see how you will respond.
Your “beta” flock members rely on you to lead them with wisdom, bravery and cuteness (not necessarily in that order).
Let’s say a very unfriendly squad of (very tiny) invaders tries to approach your flock.
They are highly infectious and deeply unwelcome. And there are lots of them – lots more of them than there are of you.
Here, where a “beta” flock member might be tempted to cower, you know exactly what must be done.
It is time to man(bird) up.
It is time to give the infectious microscopic marauders the what-for.

You go Pearl. I bet those white invaders tasted delicious. LOL!
They sure did! And they had a great trajectory too! 😂
