Day 39: Waffling with Grandpa

Family brunch with the flock is always a festive, full-service occasion.

You have your own personal Small Chef (aka your Grandma) to prepare the delicacies (which are waffle-flavored and crisped to perfection).

You have your large featherless personal waitress to take care of serving and clean-up.

You have your preferred perch on the “Tall Tree” (aka your Grandpa) – who is a slavish fan and ensures you always get first dibs on the very choicest brunch offerings.

And all you have to do to let Grandpa know which morsels you want is to point at them.

Grandpa! Grandpa! OOooh! Oooh! That one! I want that one - the one that is shaped like a waffle!!
Grandpa! Grandpa! Oooh! Oooh! That one! I want that one – the one that looks and smells just like a waffle!!
Here, Grandpa - I'll point right at it with my beak to show you!
More direction? Sure, Grandpa – look, I’ll point right at it with my beak to show you!
Here, Grandpa - I'll use my tail and point at it - does that help?
What if I point right at it with my tail, Grandpa – is that clearer?
