The wreath is much more than just a festive holiday accent.

In Roman times, the kind of wreath you displayed was an indication of your status, rank, strength, achievements, and profession.

If you really wanted people to notice these things, you might put your wreath right on top of your head (or better yet, have your assistant do this for you while everyone else watched).
