There is a reason wild predators often claim a larger territory.
If you stay in the same place all the time, the prey get wise to you.
But if you move about and choose unexpected locations, the prey are (um) sitting ducks.
Boy, this is such a great location to scout prey – I can see for miles around! The prey will never even know what hit them when I swoop down to nab them in my fierce hooked beak.Oh boy. Here we go.Well, yes, Mom, I know I look so cute perched up here scouting prey. But you can’t stand there – you’ll give away my location to the prey!Well, I like “National Geographic” too, but their photographer usually has some kind of disguise so they don’t…you know…stick out so much.Speaking of which….that’s right, Mom, if you could just go hide in the corner over there….yes I’m sure the lighting will still be fine…Oh yes. I see a prey moving into view. This is one of those really tasty prey too – the crunchy brown ones with the round hole in the middle.MOM. What did we just talk about? You spooked the prey and it rolled right down into the big white watering hole! Sigh. You have a lot to learn before “National Geographic” will want to hire you…
