Day 307: VIP Guard Duty

On certain rare occasions, a dignitary so important, so well-known, so beloved, comes into town that even local famous residents come calling.

Some might even be asked to serve as an “honorary guard” for the visiting dignitary.

This, of course, is a singular honor few beings ever receive.

Oh Great Waffle, how honored I am you chose me for Honorary Guard Duty.

And of course I will guard you with my life and every feather on my fetching body!

How divine you smell.....I mean look....

Being with you is simply.....heavenly.
Consuming…..I mean being with you is simply…..heavenly.
Well, yes, I can see how it might be a bit uncomfortable to be gripped in my claws, but that is the only way I can be sure you won’t get away….I mean, that you will be safe.
