You kiss their soft feathery belly again and again.
You make them their favorite dishes.
You scratch their itchy neck feathers.
You applaud enthusiastically after every (fabulous and feathery) performance.
You say “thank you” when they generously offer to help you while you are working.
You provide them with the softest, comfiest nest.
You celebrate their artistic and remodeling talents.
You encourage them to scale the heights.
You jump out of bed each morning just so you can see their cute feathery face.
And you are so grateful they are the last (and prettiest) face you see each night before sleep.
