Pearl’s mommy (aka the large featherless being) here.

If you enjoy hanging out with feathered beings all day, you may notice sometimes your small winged sidekick is reluctant to try certain nutritious, tasty, new items you want them to ingest.

Here, it is helpful to employ “subterfuge.”

Say your feathered sidekick loves anything that is off-limits – for instance, houseplants.

You can disguise a delicious new bunch of nutritious herbs as a houseplant just by popping it into a glass of water (see “Instincts” for more on how well this works).

Then, just stand back and watch.

Wow. I can't believe Mom just left this off-limits houseplant undefended and in plain sight.
