When you are a young feathered being raised in an interspecies flock, you may at first struggle to grasp and claim your rightful place in the flock pecking order.
After all, the ones without feathers are undeniably larger than you are in every way.
Plus they act like they know better than you do about when and how much you should be fed.
But there is one thing you have that they don’t have.
This is the thing that will forever mark them as “beta” flock members under your “alpha” leadership (hint: it starts with a “W” and is covered with aerodynamic FEATHERS).
