In most featherless circles, there is a misconception that feathered beings are messy eaters.
In fact, just the opposite is the case.
Feathered beings are such neatnicks they can’t stand to have any detritus lingering – on their feet, feathers, beaks or anywhere.
Such beings who are lucky enough to have quick, well-trained large featherless waitresses may not struggle much with this issue.
But for feathered beings whose waitresses are still, well, learning, a well-timed “covert fling” can make all the difference in maintaining dining sanity.

With love (& lots of feathers),
Shannon & Pearl
Wow! Amazing photo of the fling! I have been hit so many times with flying cooked rice but never realized how concentric the fling is.
I know-they really have a talent for it!:)
Wow, I agree with Roxy. That pic is just grand! And his face showing his satisfaction, priceless!! Love you Pearl. Have a nice weekend full of tasty treats.
Awwww-he will!:)

Yeah I saw that covert fling ! My Vinny is neurotic if I don’t remove the empty branch from his Millet spray. He takes it to the corner of the cage bottom till Mom removes it ! And hopefully replaces it with more Millet ! LOL !
Vinny sounds like he has the same “neat nick” tendencies as Pearl does! Smart bird 🙂
Mashed potato has ultimate flingability and now a true action shot!
So true Linda!:)
