For a black ops top secret covert agent like .007, developing a great cover identity is critical to mission success.

But if you don’t choose just the right cover identity, it can be pretty hard to practice your “black ops maneuvers” without raising a lot of eyebrows.

This is why a cover identity as a world-famous and feathery actor can be the perfect choice. If you happen to be seen practicing your maneuvers one day, you can just tell the paparazzi you are rehearsing for an upcoming role!

Speaking of which, Love & Feathers is proud to present the world-famous and feathery actor Pearl Cutts in his latest one-avian play:

“The Great White (& Grey) Pasta Hunter”

The curtains are already open when the eager ticket holders begin to file in.

The stage itself holds a curious assortment of items, including a large rectangular reflective device, several sheets of what appear to be magazine pages….and a single, strangely mesmerizing oval yellow being.

When the star finally strides onstage, the audience seems somehow hypnotized. No one faints (this is a real first).

Aha. Yup. That explains why no one fainted. They are all mesmerized by this yellow oval being. Nice.
Well hello there. I seem to be the only one you haven’t hypnotized. That must explain why I got called in for this particular mission.
You know, you smell….good.

Suddenly, the yellow being’s strange hypnotic effect on the audience is broken by the distinct sound of the star’s stomach…rumbling.

Throughout the crowd, you can see eyes blinking and heads shaking as they come to, wondering what they’ve missed.

You smell VERY good, as a matter of fact. I’ll just take a nibble….
A-HA! I know you! No wonder all my VIP fans were mesmerized. You are “Pasta!” You have this effect on nearly all of the large featherless beings. Luckily, your powers have no effect on me.

At this point, any dialogue is cut off by the sound of contented munching. The sound is coming from center stage.

Meanwhile, ushers rush to bring up the houselights before the audience falls into reverie again and has to be hoisted and carried out of the theater one by one….

The. End.
