The Wet Bird Couture super(bird)model roster is growing every week! So much talent, so many feathers!
This week we are so proud to introduce Casey – with special thanks to his mommy, Helen Botterill, who persuaded the shy maestro to let his modeling talents shine!
Wet Bird Couture Proudly Presents:
Casey in “The Grey Crowned Crane”
The grey crowned crane is a majestic feathered being indeed. With gorgeous grey body plumage topped by a striking gold crest, it is easy to see why the dapper and debonair grey bird was chosen as Uganda’s national avian.
The grey crowned crane lives in the Sahara, where (thanks to its uniquely long and strong back toe) it spends much time roosting and resting in trees. When the male crane has rested enough and is ready to make an egg, he lets the lady cranes know by bowing, jumping, honking and dancing.

Only a rare few super(bird)models have the right coloration, presence and precise mixture of reserve and flair to pull off this cutting-edge look.
Without further ado, Wet Bird Couture proudly presents Casey in “The Grey Crowned Crane!”
