If you are going to be a jellyfish, the box jellyfish is definitely the one you want to be.

Sometimes called a “sea wasp,” the box jellyfish is able to take down large featherless beings (plus other, much tastier, prey) with a single fatal sting from its 5,000 stinging cells.

Box jellyfish exhibit an ethereal appearance as they float serenely…at least until a delicious snack swims too close. Then it is time to go hunting – a black ops tactic if ever there was one.

Only a few models the world over have the skill to pull off a cutting-edge look both so deadly and also so delicate.

Wet Bird Couture is proud to present its latest must-have look, the “Box Jellyfish.”

Here, notice how the model gazes serenely into the distance, while the sleek feathers of the head and neck provide stark contrast to the tentacle-like spikes of the crest.

With love (& lots of feathers),
