Day 39: Hawks

Here at Casa Feathers N’ Beak, we don’t (heart) hawks.

Hawks are big. They are scary. They have sharp talons. They sometimes like to ingest…..birds.

Given all this, it is probably more than understandable that one of us (hint: it is the smaller one with the feathers) has a bona-fide hawk phobia.

So we’ve been working on it.

And since the best way to get over a phobia is to face your fear head-on – which of course won’t be happening in this particular scenario – ever – the next best thing is to impersonate it.

Someone fierce and feathery grips the towering tree with his sharp talons, surveying the landscape for prey.

Spying some white shreddable prey, he uses his 20/20 hawk vision to hone in on the most vulnerable spot.
