When approaching a tasty new dish, it is important to establish dominance right away.

This ensures you waste minimum time arguing with your meal (so you can spend more time ingesting it).

First, walk confidently up to the dish and make direct eye contact.

Now you can "manhandle" it a bit to keep the intimidation factor high.

You can also drag choice morsels off to one side so you can enjoy them fully.

If you spy a potential competitor coming towards you, again, practice direct eye contact.

Finally, you can stand up strong and tall (if the adoring media happens to decide to take your photo as you do, so be it).
After you have run off the other (large featherless) predator, you are free to dine at your leisure. You can also pose for fan photos at this time if you feel like it.
