Day 155: Migration

Many species – although mostly those which are lucky enough to have feathers – migrate.

Some migrate very long distances.

Others might migrate shorter distances.

Migration itself is an art that involves all the senses.

For example, you must know in advance where you want to end up. And you must be able to discern the precise resources necessary to sustain you on your journey.

You must also know when it is time to migrate again and when it is best to stay put.

My finely tuned senses are telling me it is time to migrate.

This is a very attractive resting point, but I must now continue my journey.

After all that migrating it is time for a nice rest.

Luckily this rest stop has victuals too.
But before continuing I will forage for some restorative victuals.
Migrating......
Now I am ready for some more migrating.
And more migrating.....
And still more migrating…..
My keen senses are telling me that is enough migrating for one day.
My inner “migration compass” is alerting me that I have reached my destination.
