Being little and cute with feathers has its advantages.
It also has certain disadvantages.
For instance, because you’re small, sometimes you can be overlooked when meal time arrives.
This is where it can be handy to adopt a “proactive” approach – what the large featherless beings seem to like to call “self serve.”
This looks quite fresh and crunchy – I guess Mom just forgot to serve it to me.Yup. It’s green. It’s crispy. Clearly it’s mine.So I’ll just be proactive and serve myself.I’m sure glad I opted for “self serve” while it is still so nice and fresh.Almost too fresh….I’m starting to wonder if Mom killed it or not.Not to worry. I will just take care of that now.The “bite o’ death” – works every time.
