Day 331: Michelangelo (with feathers)

The greatest all-time artists have allowed no obstacle to limit their creative vision.

Take, for instance, Michelangelo.

Considered the consummate “Renaissance man” and the greatest artist of his generation, Michelangelo thought nothing of working upside down for four years to paint the Sistine Chapel.

In the same way, great modern artists who seek to explore the intersection where risk meets reward will challenge themselves to create amazing art in unconventional spaces.

I am sensing the need to create challenging art.
I am feeling quite creative today.
Ah, yes. I think I left off here last session.
I think I’ll create some amazing art in an unconventional space.
Boy, this is going to be challenging. My fans will love it!
Yes, this space will be perfect – very unconventional indeed.
I'll just take a little off here....
I’ll just take a little off here….
And do a little more sculpting over here...
And do a little more sculpting over here….
I can hear my fans gasping in awe.
And just a bit more molding over here….
I'll just spread my powerful wings for balance.
Now I’ll spread my powerful wings for balance.
And more balance.
And more balance.
And perhaps just a bit more balance.
And still more balance – okay, Mom, you can take one photo, but can you make sure to capture both me AND the art?
