Day 147: Crust Control

Living in an interspecies flock can offer rare glimpses of insight into who outranks whom.

For instance, the large featherless beings outrank the small featherless beings, the large four-wheeled metal beings (the ones that sit in the garage at night and on weekends), and all furred, shelled, and finned beings.

In the same way, feathered beings clearly outrank all featherless beings, everything and everyone else, and ….. crust.
