Day 288: Mood Lighting

Finding love is often all about preparing for it.

If love arrives and you are busy doing something else, you may miss it.

So you always want to prepare ahead of time.

One great thing a manly manbird can do to prepare is to scope out romantic spots in advance.

This way, if you suddenly decide to sweep a passing ladybird off her feet, you already have a destination in mind to sweep her off to.

Are you sure this is the spot, Mom?
Are you sure this is the spot, Mom?
What is it called again - "mood lighting?"
What is it called again – “mood lighting?”
And you say featherless beings find this kind of lighting very romantic?
And you say featherless beings find this kind of lighting very romantic?
Well, that explains a lot....
Suddenly that explains so much…..
I don't get it. It looks like that yellow part inside the hard boiled egg - the part I don't like.

Honestly, Mom, it doesn't say "romance" to me.
Honestly, Mom, it just doesn’t say “romance” to me.
Can we see some other options?

I totally agree with you, Pearl. Personally, I prefer a nice blue one. And also, blue it is said, sets a peaceful and relaxing mood. 😉

PS. By the way, could you ask your mom where did she get those very cute birds thingies that are on the wall to your right? Thank you!
