Pearl Cutts in “No More Teabags!”

Many of the most celebrated actors find much of their creative inspiration from their own daily life.

For example, say you are a Golden Waffle award-winning actor who is part of a flock.

Like all flocks, yours has certain rituals.

Except when your large featherless assistant forgets the rituals. Which happens occasionally (frequently).

In this case, some re-training may be required.

On that note, Love & Feathers is proud to present Pearl Cutts in his latest one-avian play:

No More Teabags!

(The curtain rises to display one (1) teacup, one (1) teabag, one (1) avian food cup, and one (1) disgruntled avian).

Um, Mom? Forgetting anything?
Um, Mom? Forgetting anything?
Are you SURE?
(an off-stage voice is heard to answer: “no.”) Are you SURE? (the voice replies: “I’m sure.”) Are you sure you’re sure?
Why do I ask? Well, does that look like "parrot breakfast" to you?
Well, so far I see one (1) teabag, one (1) teacup, and one (1) avian food bowl – which is empty. Can you identify what is missing?
No? Well I'll tell you what is about to be missing!
No? Well I’ll tell you what is about to be missing!
No millet for me - no caffeine for you!
No millet for me – no caffeine for you!

(At this point, the body belonging to the off-stage voice is heard scrambling around for the aforementioned millet….)

The End.
