When you REALLY love somebody, you let them shelter on your lap whenever the weather gets grumpy so they won’t be afraid.

I never wonder how much my mommy loves me, because as soon as the sky starts grumbling and the big shower turns on outside, she lifts me off my perch and sets me down in her lap so I won’t be afraid.
