Pearls of Wisdom: Snoozing

If there is one thing this world always needs more of, it is wisdom.

Luckily, Pearl’s got plenty of it and he’s always happy to share!

This week, Pearl offers his Pearls of Wisdom on a topic near and dear to his heart:

Maintaining “prettiness” and “cuteness” takes a lot of energy and effort. There are snacks to be ingested, feathers to be preened and poses to be perfected. As well, everyone knows that getting as much restful sleep as possible is key to maintaining maximum feathery attractiveness.

This can become problematic, however, because feathery beings look so pretty and cute when they are snoozing and their large featherless assistants can’t resist “oohing” and “aahing” (which is loud and can disturb your slumbers). If this happens to you, all you have to do is open one eye and glare. If that doesn’t send them packing, try hissing. In no time at all you will be back to enjoying your snooze in peace.

Pearl (post-glare and hiss), enjoying a peaceful “prettiness” and “cuteness” enhancing snooze.

With love (& lots of feathers),

Shannon & Pearl

Sir Pearl, I do believe you have this down to a science! I shall try to follow your idea, but since I’m NOT cute and feathery, nor small, I’m a lost cause
